Choosing the wrong pallet racking system can be a costly decision you may regret for a long time; there are plenty of different types on the market each with benefits and drawbacks for specific requirements. Make sure you ask our experienced team for their expert advice and recommendations.

Adjustable pallet racking systems

Adjustable Pallet Racking

Standard pallet racking comes in a range of styles to suit individual requirements, it is highly adaptable and customisable to allow for pallets of various sizes and densities with a range of add on options like mesh.

Wide aisle adjustable pallet racking is designed specifically with forklift access in mind allowing full manoeuvrability in the aisle but sacrificing storage space, they are often used in retail warehouses open to shoppers.

Narrow aisle racking systems allow for a much higher storage density, closing in to the width of a single pallet, but require a special narrow aisle truck or Flexi/Bendi model.

Mobile pallet racking

Maximising storage space in any warehouse, mobile pallet racks more along motorised rails, allowing you to stack them tight together, then open up a gap for access wherever you need it; ideal for high volume, occasional access storage.

There is a huge range of pallet racking types and styles available on the market and it is not always easy to decide which is right for you, with our quarter century of expertise; we can help!

Drive-in and drive through pallet racking systems

Drive in Pallet Racking

Designed for warehouses that stock lots of the same product, drive-in and drive through systems allow a much higher storage density and easy fork lift access.

With drive-in systems pallets are stored several deep forcing a first in, last out approach; not ideal if you want stock rotation or stock lots of different items. Drive through racking is a variation for even higher storage density with forklifts loading the racks from both ends giving some added flexibility for access.

Cantilver racking

Cantilever Racking

Cantilever racks are designed for the safe and organised storage of long and heavy loads, making it an ideal storage systems for timber or metal.

Live pallet racking

Live Pallet Racking

Another design ideal for storing lots of the same item, live racking is loaded from one side and accessed from the other, with gravity pulling pallets from one end to the other along rails. This means pallets can stack up to five deep with constant stock rotation and an easy flow of fork lifts loading and unloading from opposite sides.

Carton Racking

Live carton racking achieves the same thing with cartons rather than pallets and both are sometimes called flow racks.

Push back racking is a variation loaded and unloaded from the same side but using a gravity driven rail to allow packing several deep without needing to drive-in.
