Wide Aisle Pallet Racking
Wide Aisle Pallet Racking (or standard pallet racking) is the simplest type of pallet racking on the market, easy to install and maintain, thanks to its durability and adaptability. It is suitable for almost every type of industry such as food & drink, manufacturing, warehousing or storage of heavy equipment.
Allowing for direct access to every pallet without specialist handing equipment, wide aisle pallet racking can be adjusted to cater for different types of products being stored or changing business needs. We supply wide aisle pallet racking from a number of key manufacturers including; Link 51, Apex, Polypal, PSS & Stow.
Narrow Aisle Pallet Racking
Narrow Aisle pallet racking utilises more of the floor space in a storage area, when compared to wide aisle pallet racking the operating area of handling equipment can be reduced by up to 50%.
Specialist forklift handling equipment will need to me used to fit in the confined space, but the cost of this outweighed by the space gained and the ability to access every pallet is still available, making this the preferred choice for companies with high volumes of product but low storage capacity.
Double Deep Pallet Racking
Double deep pallet racking is a slightly different take on standard pallet racking and is an ideal solution when multiple quantities of each product are stored.
Our double deep pallet racking utilises space by having two double entry racks back to back, enabling pallets to then be stored two deep but accessed from the same aisle.
The best way to utilise double deep pallet racking is to place a pallet into the racking first and then place another one in front. This utilises the space by having pallets next to each other. The 2nd pallet needs to be accessed using a telescopic attachment to the fork truck.
Drive in/Through Racking
Drive in pallet racking is designed for warehouses that stock large quantities of the same product. Drive-through and drive in pallet racking systems allow a much higher storage density and easier access for fork lift trucks, maximising the space in the storage area by utilising the area and the height.
Through drive in systems, pallets are stored several deep, using a First in Last out (FILO) rotation system, which makes it suitable for industries with either a fast turnaround or products which are not date sensitive.
Drive in pallet racking is becoming increasingly popular with industrial clients across Kent and London.
Cantilever Racking
Cantilever racking is designed for the safe and organised storage of long and heavy loads, making it an ideal storage system for items such as timber or metal e.g. fence posts or scaffold poles.
Cantilever racking consists of vertical frames and horizontal arms placed at regular intervals, which bear the load of the goods.
The majority of the time, these bulky goods need to be stored outside, such as in builders merchant yards, meaning there is a need for weatherproof materials. All our cantilever racking is made from the finest and fully waterproof materials and combine well with further weather protection like canopies or roofs.
Coil Racking
Coil Racking is a system designed to store cylindrical products such as cable or anything else that is usually held in a reel in a variety of warehouse or industrial environments.
Using a coil racks stops the cable or product from creasing or flattening or even unravelling as it might do if it was stored on the floor.
